Metro Level Crossing Removal team (MLXRT) currently have a vacancy for a Completions Manager to lead a team supporting current & future projects as part of the Level Crossing Removal Project (LXRP) The Completions Managers role oversees the completion and integrity of asset information to ensure that gain share is maximised, and that asset handover is safe, compliant and integrates with the network in accordance with Metro’s requirements. You will lead a team of Completions Engineers, who are responsible for the review stage as well as the asset upload/submission and approval status to DoT (Department of Transport). This position is offered as full time permanent, based from our head office in the CBD with a requirements to work from & visit alliance project sites/offices regularly Key Responsibilities Lead a team to meet completions process deliverables as set by the Project or Program Proposal / Project Brief in accordance with MTM’s Franchise Agreement and relevant aspects of the applicable project management framework across the project life cycle.

Lead and manage a team that is responsible for advising / supporting the Project/Program Managers achieving completions obligations for the project/package. Oversight of all Completion Management Plans and Drawing Management Plans Apply project management knowledge and skill, tools and methodologies throughout all stage of the project life cycle including selecting the appropriate equipment, resources, services and techniques Ensures suitable resources, organisational support and commercial viability for MTM to safely deliver agreed objectives in line with MTM strategies Identify and resolve process and operational issues with relevant stakeholders to ensure project Integration can be accomplished to agreed performance characteristics. Develop, support and coach a completions team to achieve the goals within the safety, time, cost and quality parameters Provision of management reports as required Ensure contractors and/or delivery partners to provide completions artefacts to agreed standard Provide training/support to contractors to achieve MTM/DOT completion requirements Assist management with the closeout of legacy projects, with a focus on legacy drawings Manage a variety of internal stakeholder groups to coordinate the close out of completions deliverables within agreed timeframes, the collection and collation of asset data, issue r.
