As an Assurance Interface Engineer, you will provide technical engineering and document control support for the engineering assurance processes.
You will coordinate the management of the Type Approval, Engineering Change, Engineering Waiver, Request for Information, Design Review, As-Built Review and other identified processes through the Office of the Chief Engineer. This is a fulltime , permanent role based at Metro Trains Head Office in Docklands. Key Responsibilities Provide first level review of artefacts submitted for the above processes to ensure technical quality is achieved prior to being forwarded for discipline specific review.
Review of submitted artefact to determine what technical disciplines are required to participate in the review. Act as a point of contact within the OCE for reviews, relating to engineering assurance processes, to ensure all engineering reviews are registered, processed, and responded within the agreed timeframes. Interface with Projects, Infrastructure, OCMS, Rolling Stock and Asset Management to provide support Provide regular updates or reports on the progress of engineering assurance reviews to manager(s).
Review engineering assurance process requests for completeness and suitability and liaise with requestor and other areas of OCE to improve quality. About you Tertiary qualification in Engineering / Science or a related discipline or equivalent work experience in a technical / technical document control role 3 years within a technical engineering capacity: design, construction, maintenance Ability to effectively communicate to management and staff at all levels (verbal and written) Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Suite, SharePoint and TeamBinder. Experience in scheduling work priorities to ensure deadlines are strictly followed.
