About the role We are currently looking for a customer focused Field Service Engineer to join our WA team.
The objective of the position is to install, maintain, service and repair Konica Minolta products and services. This will be a hands-on role, providing technical diagnostic support for our range of print equipment and ancillary products with associated software & services solutions. Whilst you will visit the Konica Minolta office and warehouse to collect parts, you will be on the road extensively.
We are looking for a person who can work collaboratively within a self-directed work team. Konica Minolta will provide a fully maintained vehicle, required tools and equipment, training and manuals. Requirements To be qualified for this position, ideally your background and skills will comprise of the following: Your strong technical aptitude, troubleshooting skills and professional approach, as well as a positive attitude in dealing with customers and colleagues, are essential attributes for this role.
A keen desire to learn and apply new skills will be encouraged in the Konica Minolta environment that fosters continuous employee development. Corrective Servicing: Analysing, diagnosing and rectifying equipment issues to minimize downtime. Preventative Servicing: Service and maintain installed equipment including scheduled maintenance visits.
Reporting on service faults Installation: after training, Field Service Engineers will be involved in the commissioning of equipment installations. Conduct training sessions on use and basic maintenance of systems if required. Ensure that your equipment, spares and vehicle kit is always complete according to inventory list.
