Back to job search Senior Manager Prudential Assurance Sydney Apply now Refer someone As a Senior Manager in the Line 2 Regulatory Affairs & Aggregate Risk (RAAR) Division, you will work with stakeholders across Macquarie’s businesses, support groups and senior management to help Macquarie meet its obligations to APRA through an effective Prudential Assurance Program. In this role, you will be a senior member of the Prudential Assurance team performing assurance activities (from planning, fieldwork and reporting), reviewing the quality of work performed by junior team members including feedback, support and guidance. The role also requires facilitating effective engagement with stakeholders across divisional senior management, and collaboration and coordination with staff from the Three Lines of Defence.

Your responsibilities will include: Effective planning, scoping, stakeholder engagement and reporting for each prudential assurance activity Ownership for the completion of prudential assurance activities in compliance with quality assurance requirements and planned delivery timeframes, with the ability to track, communicate and escalate any delays, dependencies and issues Management of junior staff (direct reports), including tracking workload and utilisation, being an effective role model and assisting them to achieve team goals and objectives Coach junior team members and support them in navigating complex situations and stakeholder engagements Identify and implement ongoing enhancements to the Prudential Assurance Standard and review methodologies Provide input to the dynamic Prudential Assurance Plan, based on learnings from each completed assurance activity To be successful in this role, you will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, and strong presentation skills with the ability to distil complex issues to clear and concise briefings for senior management. Your leadership and influencing experience will be used to drive team outcomes and maintain high stakeholder engagement. About the Risk Management Group The Risk Management Group (RMG) is an independent, centralised unit responsible for ensuring all risk across Macquarie are appropriately assessed and managed.

Its divisions include Behavioural Risk, Compliance, Credit, Financial Crime Risk, Internal Audit, Market Risk, Operational Risk & Governance, Regulatory Affairs and Aggregate Risk, and RMG Enterprise Support.
