The Project: The upgrade of the Bruce Highway between Cooroy to Curra is a priority road project and is being progressed as part of the national highway network. It will provide a bypass east of Gympie and improve safety while reducing congestion.

CPB Contractors will be delivering 18 kilometres of the Greenfield highway, realignments to local roads, 19 bridges, and a new interchange at Curra. Your Opportunity: Reporting to the Superintendent, CPB Contractors are currently seeking an experienced Supervisor with a background in bulk earthworks, drainage, pavements and structures to join our site-based team. Responsibilities will include: Supervising various Civil construction activities Effectively coordinating and supervising the utilisation of all on-site resources for the project Ensuring all workers meet site requirements prior to commencing work Monitoring construction progress and compliance to safety and environmental standards Managing site security and material/plant deliveries and storage and general housekeeping Ensure all operations are performed in accordance with agreed safe methods of work Forward planning daily/weekly/monthly construction work including resource requirements and trade coordination Ensuring site wide compliance to standards, specifications and safety Based in Gympie Queensland this is a great time to join CPB and this exciting new project to gain exposure working on a Tier 1 project.
