What does the job look like? Linfox partners with leading mining companies, providing specialised logistics services across the country. We are seeking a Load Supervisor to manage a small team of night shift loaders to deliver safe and efficient loading of trailers for a highly-valued and long term mining customer. This is a customer dedicated role requiring a hand-on loading expert who is passionate about operational excellence and driving a commitment to high safety and compliance standards.

Key areas: Supervising the loading team through coaching and guidance of best practice loading techniques compliant with CoR and load restraint regulations Developing and maintaining effective relationships with key stakeholders with proactive communication with customer Maximising revenue per trailer through efficient, compliant and accurate freight planning, loading and manifesting Fostering a supportive and inclusive culture amongst the team Are you the one? This is an opportunity for an enthusiastic, hands on supervisor with a firm but fair approach. You classify yourself as a load restraint expert and are particularly confident with ugly freight. You can demonstrate: A commitment to safety in everything you do Proven experience as a people leader in a supervisor role with ability to motivate and drive performance Good understanding and experience with load restraint of ugly freight, Chain of Responsibility regulations and Dangerous Goods Excellent communication skills and the ability to have difficult conversations At Linfox, we are passionate about creating an inclusive workplace where people can perform at their best.
