What does the job look like? Linfox has forged an impressive reputation for our safety culture and performance. Reporting to the National Safety & Compliance Manager, you will maintain the link between Safety & Compliance ensuring our employees have the training, skills, and support to provide a safe work environment throughout the Woolworths network of sites. Key areas: Engaging and educating a variety of people including Linfox staff, sub-contractor providers on changes and initiatives regarding the areas of Health, Wellbeing, Safety and Compliance Coordinate / participate in WH&S activities, including audit inspections, Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment and Control Planning, Inspections, WH&S Committee functions, accident / incident investigations and WH&S action plans Ensure all hazards and risks are identified, evaluated and controlled in accordance with Linfox Safety Policy and Procedures Conduct/participate in WHS & Chain of Responsibility (CoR) audits inclusive of sub-contractors to achieve Retail KPI targets Investigate incidents to find route cause and contributing factors.
Recommend corrective and preventative action to prevent a recurrence of the incident. Are you the one? You can demonstrate: Proven experience within the logistics industry in a similar role Experience working across a full range of WHS activities (including incident investigation and risk assessment practice) in a large complex environment is advantageous A consultative approach to resolve issues and work with a variety of stakeholders Experience with the MS Office Suite in particular Excel Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety, Certificate IV in Workplace Training & Assessment and ICAM Training is desirable At Linfox, we are passionate about creating an inclusive workplace where people can perform at their best.
