Corporate Services, including payroll, will be provided by the Department of Jobs, Skills, Industry and Regions while a process for the formal transfer of staff in impacted areas is implemented. Reporting to the Head of Office in the Office of the Chief Executive Agriculture Victoria, the Policy Advisor provides support to the Chief Executive and manages the coordination for incoming and outgoing material through the Office of the Chief Executive Agriculture Victoria. The position requires high level analytical, conceptual, and writing skills; the ability to provide advice on complex issues; ability to communicate effectively and work across the organisation at all levels; and the ability to flexibly prioritise work and respond quickly.
The successful applicant will work effectively as a member of a team, enjoy flexible working arrangements, and undertake a wide variety of work across Agriculture Victoria. Specialist/Technical Expertise/Qualifications A relevant tertiary degree would be well regarded. This is a fixed term position available for a period of 12 months.
The work location for this position is 1 Spring Street, Melbourne with hybrid work arrangements available.
