Product Manager - Orthopedic Instruments

Work Flexibility: Hybrid or Onsite We currently have an opportunity for a Product Manager within the Orthopaedic Instruments Portfolio in Sydney The Orthopaedic Instruments Portfolio is centred around power tools and consumables used in all Orthopaedic procedures in the Operating Room. The Product Manager for the Orthopaedic Instruments portfolio will help ensure Stryker South Pacific maintains its market leadership and will commercialise innovative products for successful launch within a robust product pipeline. Responsibilities Developing and implementing strategic marketing plans for existing and new products, including product promotional campaigns, pricing strategies and lifecycle management, which lead to increased profitability, brand leadership and market share growth.

Proactively monitoring market dynamics, customer behaviour and competitor activity to understand the marketing opportunities which are supported by data analytics and then to provide commercial teams with the tools to capitalise on these opportunities. Acting as a resource to the sales force for leadership, technical support, product training, problem-solving, sales effectiveness and dissemination of market information and, work closely with other internal staff including regulatory for product registration, operations for stock level management and global partners for maximum value to customers. Building strong customer relationships across multiple stakeholders within the industry and effectively communicating clinical and technical information to hospital executives, nurses, educators and surgeon faculty.

Communication skills also apply to tenders, business proposals and the use visual data analytics and digital marketing. Candidates with prior medical marketing experience and strong business acumen are encouraged to apply. Ideally we are seeking: Previous experience in supporting new products launches and success in providing marketing support Proven communication, presentation and networking skills Analytical skills and ability to interpret technical, clinical and marketing data relating to product portfolio and/or industry Tertiary qualifications in either marketing, scientific, biological, biomedical or engineering.
