Rotating Equipment Inspectors
WoodWood is actively recruiting for experienced Rotating Equipment Inspectors to join our Rotating Equipment and Reliability team. The roles are site-based (FIFO) supporting Energy clients in the Northern Territory and offshore Western Australia. These roles are offered on a full-time permanent staff basis on a variety of roster patterns.
Responsibilities of the role will include: Providing inspection services to the Operations Engineering, Maintenance and Shutdown team for rotating equipment Acting as the execution focal point for all RE equipment and auxiliaries inspection and repair activities Providing day-to-day and long term RE inspection support to onshore Ensuring the reliability of RE portfolio will meet annual delivery plan commitments Ensuring completeness of all WMS history to ensure correct quality capture Ensuring maintenance and integrity standards are achieved Investigation of failures and trips of RE portfolio Outline clear scopes of work for equipment refurbishment and effectively manage vendor technical queries Support root cause analysis program for major failures Drive resolution of highest impact issues with a strong sense of urgency and integrity At this time, we will only consider applications from those who hold the right to work in Australia including Australian citizens, Permanent Residents or other working visas. Tertiary qualification in a relevant Engineering discipline with non-degreed personnel considered where experience and competency are demonstratable at depth Strong experience in rotating equipment and auxiliary systems within the hydrocarbon offshore and onshore environment Extensive experience working on large rotating equipment and supporting systems, including GE Frame Gas Turbines, Centrifugal Compressors, Steam Turbines, Compressor seal systems, Diesel Engines, Fire Pumps and Condition and Performing Monitoring Systems An expert understanding of workshop processes, inspection activities and predictive maintenance techniques Extensive knowledge of CMMS systems and integrity assurance Highly motivated, self-sufficient individual who enjoys working as part of collaborative and supportive team Wood is a global leader in consulting and engineering, helping to unlock solutions to critical challenges in energy and materials markets.
