We’re a globally integrated audit, tax and advisory firm with offices in more than 90 countries – and we’re recruiting for an experienced and motivated Tax Advisory Consultant at Senior to Manager level to join our Australian team.

Are already working in a similar role, or have some technical tax advisory experience in your current role and looking to expand your skills in a full-time technical tax role. About the role As part of the Tax team, you will provide outstanding services to local and international clients across a diverse range of industries and matters. You will be a key contributor to our fast-growing business and will help to build our future as well as your own career.
Reporting to the Tax Partners or Senior Manager, your role will include: Undertaking tax research, analysing and interpreting tax legislation, cases and rulings Drafting tax advisory advice for a broad range of clients, from individuals to trusts and companies to multinationals groups in relation to various Australian taxation issues. Assistance in relation to structuring of businesses and investments. Providing practical taxation advice, meeting business needs Assisting with taxation compliance for complex taxpayers and groups Liaising and negotiating with the ATO on behalf of clients.
Business Development, driving improvement and efficiencies as well as developing internal and external networks. Involvement with internal and external learning and development, including thought leadership within the industry. The opportunity to grow your skills through exposure to a wide variety of tax issues and clients.
Working in a team where everyone is passionate about tax. About you The qualities and qualifications we’re looking for include. Degree in business/commerce/law Ideally have a minimum of 4-6 years of experience in taxation advisory/consulting in a public practice (including corporate tax, international tax, M&A tax, or a specialist tax advisory role) A qualified CA or CPA (preferred).
Undertaking, or interested in undertaking a Masters of Tax advantageous. Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verba.
