Branch Manager Townsville


AWX is on the hunt for a Branch Manager to join the team in Townsville. Who Are We? AWX is part of the larger group, PeopleIN. In 2019, PeopleIN (PPE) became the largest ASX-listed workforce management and staffing in Australia.

The company provides contract staffing and human resources outsourcing services to a range of key industries including; community services, childcare, heath care, nursing, IT, blue collar and hospitality. The Opportunity Due to continued success and growth, we are seeking a Branch Manager based in Townsville.

In the role you will be responsible achieving profit results consistent with established expectations, effective staff management, and implementing a consistent business development program to increase market share and operating profits. This includes responsibility for: Recruiting, mentoring, and developing team members Preparing business and budget reports, including financial performance reports and forecasts Budget and KPI management Work with new and existing clients to identify and develop new business opportunities and manage the implementation of these using available resources Manage operational delivery team focused on major accounts, to ensure effective service standards Ensure the effective management of the end-to-end recruitment process in accordance with standard operating procedures and client requirements Develop and maintain strategic business relationships, to promote awareness and profitable business relationships About You This role requires a driven person, who thinks outside the square and has an entrepreneurial flair. You will also have: Significant sales experience, either in the recruitment industry or general local commercial sector Strong market knowledge and developed network Superior interpersonal skills – both written and verbal Significant management experience The ability to delegate and empower effectively both upward and downward within the structure Ability to develop and mentor staff to excel Understanding of financial data and reports – budgets, forecasting, Profit and Loss Statements Demonstrable commercial acumen Relevant Tertiary qualification e.
