The Role Managing the Retail Store including a team of 8 in Cairns. The store is open 7 days a week however you would be Monday to Friday only. The Store This is one of the companies high performing stores in Queensland.

As well as having retail customers they have many commercial account customers. They also have a warehouse and embroidery facility on site plus, an external Sales Rep to drive business through the store. The current Store Manager is relocating to Melbourne and as a result they have a vacancy.

Your Background and Experience You will have retail store and staff management experience and be a very customer focused, hands on participant on the retail floor. You may be an Assistant Store Manager, seeking the opportunity to step up to a Store Manager role. Your Personality and Style You must be a good leader with strong communication skills and be confident speaking to all types of people at all different levels from blue collar workers to white collar professionals.

Given that this is more than just a retail store, you must be a strong time manager with a good work ethic.
