AWX ExecutiveWe have partnered with large civil companies seeking operators for up and coming projects. We are seeking experienced Civil Plant Operators for multiple projects located across Brisbane. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating heavy equipment at major civil construction sites, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of equipment, and completing tasks according to project specifications.
Responsibilities: Operate heavy equipment such as bulldozers, excavators, loaders, and graders to move materials and earth Conduct pre-start checks on equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation Follow project specifications to perform tasks such as excavation, grading, and leveling of land Communicate with supervisors and other team members to coordinate activities and ensure project timelines are met Perform routine maintenance on equipment and report any malfunctions or repairs needed Adhere to all safety procedures and regulations on site Keep accurate records of equipment usage, maintenance, and repairs Maintain a clean and organised work area Requirements: Must have one or more of the relevant tickets (Bobcat, Digger, Roller, Grader, Excavator or Dozer) Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to job sites Ability to read and interpret project plans and specifications Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills Excellent communication and teamwork skills Ability to lift heavy objects and work in a physically demanding environment GPS and Final trim experience desired If this sounds like you, APPLY NOW so we can get in touch.
