Look no further than our client's Acute Community Intervention Service, based in rural North Victoria As a PRN Grade 3 year 1 Mental Health Clinician, you will work alongside a dedicated and experienced team to provide high-quality care and support to those in need. This is an excellent opportunity to grow your skills and experience in a challenging yet rewarding environment. Essential qualifications Current registration as a Registered Nurse, Occupational Therapist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) Social Worker – membership, or meets the eligibility requirements for membership, with the Australian Association of Social Work Demonstrated experience and ability in community based psychiatric triage, assessment, support and treatment of people with a mental illness Sound knowledge of the Mental Health Act 2014 and Psychiatric Service Frameworks Procedures and Guidelines Evidence of full vaccination for Covid 19 A current Victorian drivers licence Desired Post graduate qualifications in mental health or to have completed a specialist undergraduate psychiatric program and/or related field, is preferred but not essential About the job Our clients comprehensive mental health care service provides 24-hour access to a telephone triage team, emergency department response, and short-term treatment team.
