Honouring Life, celebrating memories for generations is an extremely rewarding career path An opportunity has arisen at our White Lady Brighton location for an individual who will be responsible for arranging, planning and conducting funeral services for families who have chosen us to help them farewell their loved one. As a Funeral Arranger Conductor, you will support local funeral operations by meeting with bereaved families to plan and arrange funerals. You will also be required to set up for funeral services at a variety of churches and chapels, and support families throughout the arrangement process and on the funeral day.

You will be required to participate on a weekend roster to help support families who need us during the time. Our Brighton location is one of our new dual branded sites with both our WD Rose and White Lady brands being based here. This is a state of the art facility with a wonderful setting for our families as well as excellent office space for staff.

We are looking for candidates with: Sensitivity, along with a comfort to circumstances involving grieving people, and their values and beliefs. An ability to be customer focused, and to communicate and respond effectively to all levels of the public. Insight and empathy, in order to interpret the needs of people.

Ability to create meaningful funerals from given information and to clearly communicate options to clients. The people and inter-personal skills to work in a team. Competent administrative skills and an eye for detail.

The ability or capacity to rapidly acquire the skills to sell products and services. Strong attention to detail to ensure our customers' expectations are not only met but exceeded Excellent written and oral communication skills. The successful applicant would be required to participate in rostered after-hours duties including weekend arranging.

Flexibility to work at other locations within the Melbourne Metropolitan area.
