The role will be required to conduct strategic analysis of efficiency and capacity of the University’s teaching, research and administrative spaces and be responsible for multiple aspects of the project lifecycle from prioritisation, planning and budgeting through to preliminary design, implementation and transition to BAU.
The role will also review the overall program and refine to drive overall program objectives. Skills and Experience To be considered for this position, you will have; Demonstrated experience and expertise in the management of significant human and material resources, or postgraduate qualifications and extensive relevant experience, or experience and expertise in the provision of strategic policy advice affecting the direction of the University, or an equivalent alternate combination of relevant knowledge, training and/or experience. Demonstrated high level of theoretical and applied knowledge in professional area of expertise.
Excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrated experience in liaising with staff at all levels of an organisation, negotiating effective outcomes, consultation and facilitation of group discussions. Proven ability to deal with concepts, decisions and complex information or situations in an efficient and effective manner. Capable, agile, flexible and patient with process, and the ideas of others.
Proven record of developing innovative solutions and practical implementations for strategic change. Strong leadership skills including the ability to negotiate, motivate, influence and build relationships. Proven record of managing and controlling substantial budget/resources/funding and an understanding of financial management procedures.
Awareness and understanding of the activities, objectives and strategic direction of the University, both current and future, in a global context. Experienced project/program manager with a strong track record of delivering multiple projects simultaneously inside of a broader program. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written), to influence decision making.
Proven experience in developing and implementing effective change management strategies to support organizational transformations. Strong ability to synthesise large, complex data sets and translate into actionabl.
