The Role We are currently seeking an Experienced Engineer to contribute to the development and production of project deliverables in our Parramatta office. Successful candidates will coordinate and take the lead on project delivery, people management and client relationship management across major urban, land development, renewables, and infrastructure projects. Some of the projects you will be working on include: Town centre main street upgrades Cycleway strategies Solar farm designs Design of construction camps for major infrastructure projects Industrial renewal projects Master planned communities Intersection road upgrades Key Responsibilities Feasibility, concept design and delivery of major civil projects Civil design using relevant civil software - 12D, MUSIC, DRAINS & AutoCAD Ensuring that analysis and design tasks undertaken meet appropriate technical standards and the requirements of the client and SMEC Production of engineering reports and supporting tender proposals Proactively collaborating with team members, contributors and stakeholders to maintain quality, timeliness and co-ordination of project deliverables About You Relevant tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering or equivalent Minimum 5 years domestic Civil Engineering experience Previous land / urban project experience is essential Must have a strong understanding of relevant Australian codes and standards Full working rights In return, SMEC offers you the benefits that come from working in a global multidisciplinary consultancy in an environment where your fresh ideas and enthusiasm will be welcomed and rewarded.
