Maternal & Child Health Nurse Temporary part time and casual positions available Salary Range: $109,890 - $112,794 (pro rata) plus superannuation and allowances Casual Hourly Rate: $69.51 plus superannuation and allowances Click here to view the Position Description We are seeking highly motivated and enthusiastic nurses to support our high quality Maternal and Child Health Service by providing a range of efficient and comprehensive services to families and children from birth to school age across the region. We have multiple temporary 12 month part time and casual opportunities available.

In this role, you will promote a focused approach for the promotion, prevention, early detection and intervention of physical, emotional or social factors affecting young children and their families. Opportunities to support families using the new Sleep and Settling Program Initiative may arise. To succeed in this role, you will have well developed interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to be flexible, innovative and to take initiative.

Organised professional development, collaboration with external agencies and monthly team meetings is valued by the City to encourage team cohesion and a supportive work environment. The successful applicant will have recognised qualifications in Maternal and Child Health nursing (or pre-1998 equivalent), along with registration with AHPRA - Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia as a Registered General Nurse and Registered Midwife. A satisfactory Police Record Check Working with Children Check, and Victorian driver's licence are required for this position.
