Recovery Partner - Prince of Wales Hospital The Recovery Partner is responsible for implementing the SESLHD return to work program, providing high level specialised and technical advice and support services for injured workers as they recover at work, and assisting SESLHD to meet their obligations as required under the workers compensation legislation to achieve business and service objectives. The Recovery Partner is a key link between the worker and their support team as they recover. Recovery Partners also assist workers with a workers compensation or a non-compensable injury, to recover at work.
Provide high level specialised & support services to injured employees as they recover at work following work related and non-work related injury and/or illness. Assist SESLHD meet our obligations under the workers compensation and industrial legislation & to achieve business & service objectives. Act as a key link between our employees & their support team as they recover from injury & illness.
Including but not limited to: initiating early contact with workers & their recovery team, developing & monitoring effective return to work plans under medical guidance & standardised recovery time frames, conducting medical case conferences, undertaking workplace visits. Maintain comprehensive file records in accordance with SESLHD & legislative requirements. Developing & maintaining effective working relationships with service providers, business units/service lines, unions, fund manager & team members.
Collaborate with the Health Safety & Wellbeing Team & customers groups to identify strategies for prevention of injury & identify continuous improvement opportunities in injury management procedure & policy. Interpret, apply & implement injury management legislation and government policy to promote continuous improvement & focus on superior service, including contributing to development & promotion of performance indicators & governance & risk reporting systems.
