Senior Fund Accountant - Global Professional Services firmMPAU Finance
Working closely with supervisors you will be responsible for providing clients with accurate and timely accounting services in line with clients' business needs, accounting standards and compliance with relevant regulatory authorities, to meet the client service agreements. Your role will encompass all facets of the calculation of net asset values on a variety of funds. You will gain valuable experience working with top ties clients across both Real Estate or Private Equity Funds.

Description Prepare financial statements, footnotes and partner capital statements Involved within a full scope of transaction activities including full cycle accounting Prepare Prepare financial data analysis investor allocations Maintain and control the general ledger and various sub-ledgers Prepare trial balances and work paper product Process standard and complex bookkeeping entries Coordination and preparation of IAS and BAS Statements Review funds' partnership agreements, trust deeds and PPM's and other documents Participate in the implementation of fund structures onto the accounting system Monitor compliance of various agreements with clients, including the Service Level Agreement Operate as a contact point for clients liaise with internal/external parties - i.e.
auditors, legal counsel Prepare and analyze complex Excel spreadsheets Liaise with Investment Management companies Maintains relationship with daily client contact; being pro-active and following up on any Participate in performance appraisals outstanding issues with the client at an operational level Keep accurate records by coding correctly timesheets in system Lead and mentor a team of 2 Profile Minimum 3 years relevant experience as a Fund/Senior Fund Accountant in professional firms or multinationals CA/CPA qualified or working towards Experience in accounting/tax/banking procedures Advanced Excel and experience in Investran Knowledge of local accounting practices Excellent written and verbal communication Job Offer Excellent remuneration package Team leadership opportunity Great company culture Career development, training and support Flexible work arrangements Convenient CBD office Supportive management To apply online please click the 'Apply' button below.
