IPA are working in partnership with Mambourin, a Disability Service Organisation that supports people with a disability with the purpose of connecting people to every opportunity and supporting them to get what they want out of life. Mambourin are a growing organisation with over 200 staff that work across a range of hubs in Melbourne's West. Their teams provide individualised support to more than 400 people living with a disability.

They have a huge range of service choices that cover life skills development, social and community participation, employment pathways and general disability support - all of which help people to kick goals and live their best life. Marketing: Support the Manager in the planning and implementation of marketing campaigns. Research potential partnerships and build strategic partner relationships Seek publicity opportunities Management of external online listings i.

e., provider directories Research and coordinate submissions for relevant awards Research and coordinate applications for relevant grant opportunities Identify and implement new avenues to grow brand awareness and stakeholder engagement Build media contacts and create and submit press releases Events: Seek and explore opportunities for attendance and participation at new events such as conferences, expos, community events etc. Support community hubs to plan and hold site-based events.

Support the events assistant in the management of event collateral Communication: Ensure all communications adhere to the Mambourin style guide and are targeted to the audience. Contribute to an environment oriented to open communication, creative thinking, cohesive team effort and workplace trust. Coordinate, edit/proof and quality-check internal and external communications (letters to community, social media, video and photo production etc) when the Manager is on leave or unavailable QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE Relevant tertiary qualifications e.

g., Degree / Diploma in Marketing or Public Relations highly desirable Minimum 2 years' experience in Marketing or Public Relations role Excellent verbal and written communication skills essential Experience in events preferred Excellent computer skills in applications such as Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite Experience in the identification of new technology and trends Demonstrated experience with stakeholder engagement Demonstrated ability to work independently Ability to innovate and apply creative problem solving Hold current driver's licence . It is a requirement of this role, that a mandatory background check is completed.

The check that is required for anyone working in the Disability Sector regardless of the role is called a NDIS Screening Clearance Check, and it must be completed and cleared before you start. If you do not have a current NDIS Screening Clearance Check, then one will be conducted throughout the interview process. You must also hold a current and valid Victorian Drivers Licence.
