Business Administration Traineeship

Programmed Training Services specialise in the employment of Apprentices and Trainees with our clients and the design and delivery of nationally accredited training. Programmed is seeking an enthusiastic individual based in Toowoomba QLD that has a desire to work in Administration, is confident with computers and can demonstrate strong communication skills. The Traineeship is within a busy fast paced environment, so if you possess the 'Can Do' attitude, have a strong work ethic and would like to learn and earn then this Traineeship could be for you.

This is a paid position whilst gaining a nationally recognised qualification - Certificate III in Business. The traineeship is hosted with RoadTek whom provide excellent mentoring, training and encourages teamwork and innovation within their business. RoadTek is a commercial government business within the Department of Transport and Main Roads (TMR) who deliver a diverse range of projects that make up the state's extensive road and bridge network.

During the traineeship you will have the opportunity to work across different areas of RoadTek' s business to provide administration support to the Operations Manager, human resource management, training, HSE and internal staff. This will be a diverse and interesting role requiring good customer service. We are offering: Support and mentoring to complete your Certificate III in Business qualification 12 months fulltime paid competency-based traineeship A positive and energetic work environment Paid Course fees Fulltime contract with Annual Leave, Sick Leave and Public Holiday entitlements Potential career in the industry During the Traineeship you will gain skills and knowledge in General Administration duties and provide support to the Operations Manager and internal staff across a full range of duties which may include: Receptionist duties Newsletter development Customer service which will include answering the phone, greeting visitors and delivery drivers General administration duties which will include filing, archiving, photocopying, collect and send mail, maintaining stationary stock for printers/copiers Using various computer programs, including Excel Spreadsheets and Word Documents An overview, on processes such as travel, expenditure vouchers and balancing corporate card transactions Goods Receipting: (SAP/Purchase Orders, paying invoices) Payroll: (SAP/doing own timesheets and General overview of the SAP Applications) Note: There may be a small amount of manual handling when archiving and filing We are seeking applicants to have the following qualities: Excellent Customer service skills both written and oral Demonstrate experience in multi-tasking Work independently or in a team Demonstrated experience working on computers and/or customer service Flexible and willing to adapt to business needs Ability to maintain confidentiality Experience in data entry with attention to detail Experience in Excel, Word, Outlook and data entry desirable OHS White c.
