This unique position offers an opportunity to be involved in an enterprise-wide technical product journey that will support the organisation's technology strategy, which seeks to place with a competitive advantage amongst its competitors. This role will play a central role in the technical product strategy and will be responsible for the development and analysis of user-centric business requirements for applications and integration. The Technical Business Analyst will interpret and document requirements, change requests, actively participate in solution design to business problems, contribute to agile practices and support solution development, testing, implementation and continual improvement.
The ideal candidate must have a technical as well as a business mindset and be able to work closely with the business stakeholders and understand the overall technical products and architecture to elicit requirements and develop detailed user stories for developers and testers to deliver business outcome. The ability to work both autonomously and/or with other members of the team to deliver end-to-end solutions is essential. The Technical Business Analyst will: Create commercial or economic value by translating business goals and business requirements into application configuration and functional and non-functional requirements Understand technical projects with API's and integration layers Able to define technical user stories for developers and testers Able to lead user stories through to completion Gather requirements and conduct analysis using agile techniques Write acceptance criteria in collaboration with the testing team Facilitate workshops, including requirements gathering sessions Review design and testing deliverables to ensure completeness of requirements Actively participate in agile delivery processes, including planning and estimation Showcase products to project stakeholders Conduct training sessions with stakeholders and end users and prepare training and supporting documentation Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities Perform other duties as directed Have or develop sound operational knowledge of legislative, regulatory and Code of Conduct requirements including (but not limited to) Privacy Act, Industry Codes of Practice, Occupational Health & Safety, Complaint Handling and Dispute Resolution Develop a sound knowledge of financial focussed policies, procedures, products, services and systems to comply within the authorities and restrictions in relation to the duties of this position Pass an Australian Federal Police check and a bankruptcy check as part of being appointed and have regular checks as a part of your ongoing employment The Technical Business Analyst will enjoy: Collaborating with business and technical people to achieve a business outcome.
