Exciting opportunity for a Project Engineer / Project Manager with experience across piling projects to join a major Piling contractor in Perth We are seeking an experienced Project Engineer / Project Manager to join a busy piling subcontractor on Major project in Perth for a full-time, permanent position. The Company Our client is a highly-regarded, International, Major Works geotechnical and piled foundations contractor with offices based in Perth, WA. The wide range of services cover diaphragm walls, CFA / Bored piling, cut-off walls, microfine cement injection grouting, ground anchors, etc.
About the Role As Project Engineer / Project Manager you will be reporting to the Operations Manager, ensuring that projects run on time and in budget. Managing client relations and checking projects are in compliance with government requirements. This is a permanent position located in and around Perth and Greater Perth area.
Skills & Experience Bachelor level tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering / Geotechnical Engineering At least 5-10 years experience working in piling and in a PE / PM capacity MUST HAVE Experience within a range of piling projects & techniques Demonstrated experience across projects involving CFA, Bored & D-walls Experienced across medium to large projects as a Project Engineer or Project Manager. Demonstrated proficiency working within the ground engineering field. Demonstrated experience in successful interactions and problem solving with multi-disciplinary project teams, commercial partners, clients and suppliers, regulatory authorities and government agencies.
Demonstrated experience in managing and motivating teams of construction workers, engineers, supervisors and site workers. Previous experience working across different cultures and maintaining key relationships. A genuine commitment to strong WHS and quality management culture Required to undergo pre-employment medical Demonstrated experience in managing third party contracts from mobilisation, through duration of projects and finalisation of projects.
An Australian Citizen or have the right to work in Australia About the Role: Manage the project life-cycle meeting company and client requirements. Manage the strategic aspect of the projects while being hands-on and available to the construction team as and when assistance is required. Various of specialties and site works as required to ensure sufficient operation coordination and control of the allocated supervisory staff via regular visits, whilst constantly monitoring progress on site.
