They are an independent, non-government, community managed agency offering a range of quality services that are responsive to the varying needs of the communities they serve.
Reporting to the CEO, and as a member of the Executive Team, the Director of Client Services role provides leadership to UMFC’s senior delivery management team and all employees, supporting service delivery managers in their provision of client services ensuring they meet funding body targets, are of a high quality, are safe and innovative and achieve positive outcomes for clients and stakeholders. Core Responsibilities: Provide leadership and support to the senior delivery management team, client service delivery managers and all employees Model organisation’s values and ensure a supportive organisational culture Support service delivery managers to undertake service planning, participate in setting budgets and forecasts for service provision and management of financial, human, and other resources Maintain and support effective and constructive relationships with relevant funding bodies and contract managers Work with service delivery managers to identify and pursue new opportunities for service delivery that adds value to existing service provision, fills gaps in provision, or supports entry into other service delivery areas Oversee the development and writing of funding submissions Provide reports to Executive and the Board outlining service delivery against targets, quality and safety of services, risk, issues and achievements Lead and promote a culture of child safety and relevant cultural connection for all children including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children, children with disability, children who may be gender diverse or children who may be culturally and linguistically diverse. (CALD) Key Selection Criteria Degree qualification in a relevant field, specifically social work, family law or community services Demonstrated experience in complex service delivery systems and funding as well as writing complex, fit-for-purpose documents including funding submissions Demonstrated experience in the management of strategic and operational planning, meeting contractual obligations, and regulatory and legislative compliance In Return You will enjoy being part of a meaningful and supportive team where their excellent services focus on strengthening, nurturing, and caring for children and families.
