In the Civil Engineering Operations Support Team, you will provide essential technical support to the operational contingent of WA's principal supplier of water, wastewater & drainage services. This Role will report to the Senior Engineer - Civil and will be responsible for undertaking engineering support to assist in the provision and management of the state's wastewater asset base. What the role will involve: Providing technical guidance in essential reactive repair work (sinkholes, bursts, blockages etc.) Planning and reviewing proactive asset maintenance Delivering minor projects to address deficiencies in our ageing assets Conduct asset condition assessment and prepare root cause analysis documentation.

Investigating customer queries and working with Local Government representatives to achieve the best common outcome Reviewing proposed projects to ensure that they are safely and efficiently operable and maintainable throughout the life of the asset Communicate the needs and preferences of our operational team to the technical and leadership stakeholders within Water Corporation Key skills and experience: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent with significant civil water industry experience. Comprehensive technical knowledge of the design, operation and maintenance of water, wastewater and drainage assets. Excellent communication skills and a willingness to learn and work across multiple teams to achieve the required outcome.

Considerable maintenance and asset health experience providing civil engineering and/or technical support in a utility business, engineering consultancy or a heavy engineering and construction environment. Relevant professional engineering experience in supporting teams in evaluating and resolving.
