The Centre for Health Economics is seeking to appoint a dynamic quantitative researcher to join the team. The researcher will contribute to studies related to health economics and economic evaluation. This will include the analysis of administrative, registry and survey data to inform health policy and in particular the efficient use of blood products.

The Research Fellow will be responsible for: Conducting research independently and as a member of the cross-disciplinary research team to produce high-quality conference, seminar and journal publications Assisting in obtaining and managing data and the conceptual development and implementation of research Engaging with stakeholders Involvement in professional activities including, subject to availability of funds, attendance at conferences and seminars in the field of expertise The successful applicant will have a doctoral qualification in health economics, econometrics, statistics, epidemiology, data analytics or a health-related field with a significant quantitative component. They will also have demonstrated experience in manuscript preparation skills; including evidence of an ability to produce high-quality research outputs or the potential to do so. Statistical skills with the ability to use statistical software packages such as STATA or equivalent is highly desirable.
