About the role We currently have an exciting opportunity for an Operations Manager to lead our Heatherbrae depot with the support of our existing staff. You will be responsible for the efficient management and operation of bus services from the depots, ensuring compliance with both internal and contractual performance standards. Reporting to the Service Delivery Manager - NSW North Coast, you will play a key role in supporting our Service Delivery objectives to achieve our vision of being Australia's leading public transport company - the first choice for our clients, customers and employees.

If you have a proven track record in managing teams (preference in transport and logistics) with a focus on service delivery, possess strong people management skills and you are looking for your next challenge, then this role could be for you Role responsibilities: This role will have overall responsibility for the daily service delivery requirements, with a key focus on our depots and its people. This includes, but not limited to: Taking a hands-on approach to handling all daily operations of a bus depot such as employee dispatch, payroll, rostering etc. Maintaining effective recruitment & selection to ensure a full complement of drivers and administration staff Leading the implementation of company-wide systems and processes.

Ensuring compliance with internal and contractual performance standards and meeting KPI’s. Auditing and ensuring that all Service Delivery related reports are being properly investigated and actioned. Coaching team members and developing their performance, offering feedback and demonstrating the desired skills and expected work ethic within your team.

Providing after hours support to key personnel and emergency services Managing relationships and communication with external stakeholders such as schools, local authorities and key community groups. Ensuring adherence to Workplace Health and Safety legislation Quality Assurance standards are maintained. To be successful in this role, you must have: Demonstrated experience in leadership with a focus on employee engagement and motivation (desirable) Strong writing and document management skills Strong communication and interpersonal skills Strong ability to plan, prioritise and meet deadlines A sound understanding of WHS regulations and practices A.
