What your day-to-day will look like As a Senior Advisor – Marketing & Communications your day-to-day tasks will see you owning and managing the marketing and communication needs of our Energy and Resources, and Urban Development sectors across the Australian and New Zealand markets.
Working in a team of marketing specialists, you will drive the strategic direction for these sector portfolios, work closely with stakeholders to identify market needs and trends, and deliver creative, multi-channel marketing campaigns and content. You’ll identify thought leadership opportunities, build relationships with Industry bodies and media contacts and elevate the external brand presence for SMEC ANZ in these sectors. You’ll gain exposure to all functions of the business and will be responsible for driving sector specific internal communications.
Additionally, the role will sit on our Reconciliation Action Program committee and help drive meaningful change across our business through indigenous focused policy. Note: This role can be based in any of our offices across NSW, ACT, SA, QLD and VIC What can you bring to the team? The ideal applicant will have: Tertiary Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Management or related 2 plus years’ experience in a similar mid-senior marketing role Experience in the Energy and Resources and or Urban Development sectors are desirable, as is experience in professional services or the engineering environment Proven ability to create and drive strategic marketing campaigns, perform in a fast paced environment and provide clear reporting on ROI Exceptional communication skills an stakeholder manag....
