Business Manager Level 5Whizdom Recruitment
Our Large Federal Government client is seeking a Business Manager who will undertake complex project and contract management activities for the branch. The role will manage the assessment and authorisation projects schedule, establish and govern external partnership contracts. The candidate will have considerable stakeholder engagement skills and will be required to identify relevant stakeholders’ expectations and concerns to develop a clear understanding of the methodology and practices to achieve outcomes.
Skills and Knowledge: Experience in requirement elicitation and prioritisation activities for large, complex initiatives. Experience in developing and implementing business process improvement. Experience in developing and managing external contracts.
Excellent technical writing skills with previous experience in writing security documentation. Major Responsibilities: Establish and maintain strong working relationships and partnerships with key internal and external stakeholders. Analyse and develop Trust and Assurance (TA) branch business processes to identify alternative solutions to improve efficiency, effectiveness and exploit new technologies and automation.
Develop Trust and Assurance (TA) branch organisational policies, standards, and guidelines for business process improvement. Location: Canberra, ACT Contract terms: 12 months SFIA security level required: The Specified Person will be expected to demonstrate attributes of SFIA Level of Responsibility 5. Security Requirements: Current Top-Secret Positive Vetting (TSPV) security clearance is strongly preferred, however candidates who have held a TSPV in the previous 12-month period (which has since been downgraded) may be considered.
