Your banking and finance industry knowledge be an advantage to help you succeed in this role. We are seeking someone with demonstrated project leadership capabilities and strong technical skills in process improvement, along with a successful track record of stakeholder engagement. You’ll bring: Business analysis experience including experience with Business Process Re-engineering / improvement techniques (eg TQM, Six Sigma, Lean).
Advanced PC skills (Visio, Microsoft word, excel, PowerPoint, project). Banking, finance, accounting or information technology industry experience. Proven ability to document user stories.
Experience with working within and agile environment desirable Experience of key AGILE concepts and/or experience with leading or operating in an AGILE environment External studies in Business Analysis and/or tertiary qualifications in a business, finance or technology related discipline About the role The Senior Business Analyst will work with various stakeholders and bankers to elicit and validate needs and requirements for changes to business processes, policies and information systems. As a member of a team you will work to understand business problems and opportunities and are responsible for translating these into user stories to support development of business solutions enabling the organisation to achieve its objectives. You will be dynamic, and keen to work with others to explore ideas and options to deliver understand what our customers or business stakeholders require to meet their goals.
Key responsibilities include; Lead process improvement projects in conjunction with business SMEs to identify ways in which processes can be improved Ensure work practices are conducted in accordance with all Bank compliance requirements, as specified in Bank policy, corporate and business unit procedures and the staff handbook and identify and report instances of non-compliance Foster collaboration across key business, Finance and Technology & Transformation relationships and build trust to generate better outcomes Facilitate the elicitation and analysis of business needs via epics, features and stories to result in development of appropriate solutions or outcomes Bring an understanding of user-centred design, customer focus, SME business knowledge, networks and expertise, to in-business and enterprise transformation initiatives. We are recruiting for a permanent position to be located at either Adelaide, Bendigo or Melbourne (Docklands). The role is full-time with some flexible work from home options.
