The Role The Macquarie Medical School sits within the Faculty of Medicine, Health and Human Sciences and has responsibility for two prestigious educational courses, the Bachelor of Clinical Science and the graduate-entry Macquarie MD, as well as contributing to major studies within the Bachelor of Medical Sciences.
The School is seeking to appoint an Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander person who is a practicing medical clinician to a part-time academic role at Senior Lecturer level. The position will provide clinical experience and personal perspectives to advance the Faculty’s strategy to enhance student learnings of Indigenous perspectives, culture, and health issues within the Macquarie MD course and other Faculty health courses. The successful candidate will be a practicing medical clinician with an interest and experience in medical student education.
Applicants from any clinical discipline in the broad areas of medical, surgical, or primary care practice are welcome.
