About the role The Business Management Analyst is responsible for performing critical activities within the Governance, Assurance, Consulting & Optimization, and Business Administration Key Business Services provided by the Business Management team, These services look to assure the health and profitability of all Optus Business delivered solutions, improve margin and value outcomes within new and in-flight internal programs of work, provide subject matter expertise to transformation and business improvement programs, and optimise how the business operates moving forward. Key Responsibilities Initiation of Customer Requests which require delivery such as ICT Projects and Carriage Transitions; Financial Governance activities such as reviewing financial forecasts, billing milestones and open invoices, perform stage gate views to govern adherence to compliance and quality expectations; and the development and improvement of Policies, Processes, Work Instructions, Frameworks and Methodologies. Completion of Project Audits and provide recommendations to resolve areas of concern, review and provide solutions to address systemic issues identified throughout processes and activities, manage IP and Knowledge assurance through Knowledge Sharing sessions and management of key information and artefacts, as well as provide Management Information and Insights to support Decision Making by senior leaders.
Involvement in OB wide transformation activities to provide expertise, leading of continuous improvement initiatives, leading and involvement within optimisation initiatives to optimise activities and operational efficiency; as well as involvement in the transition in of new activities into the team and offshore as appropriate. Lead requests for support from functions supported by Business Management, which span general end user enquires, process queries, licensing and access requests, as well as troubleshooting where appropriate. About You Experience in P30 Foundation and/or PMBOK or Prince2 5-7 years' experience in a PMO / EPMO Analyst or Lead role Business improvement and/or transformation experience Problem solving, critical thinking, resilience, customer management, and good communication skills are crucial Workshop facilitation and training Experience in financial analysis Experience in management insights and control frameworks Experience in operational and/or management consulting Like to know more?
