The role The Development Project Accountant manages all aspects of financial reporting for Logistics development including Group and joint venture reporting. The role also provides support to the Development Analysts in the Logistics Finance team. The role is at the core of all development finance activities for the Logistics portfolio and provides accurate, timely and meaningful information, financial analysis and insights to the team and ensures compliance with statutory reporting requirements.

This includes all financial reporting for assets under construction, current and potential developments and assisting with modelling where required. What you will be doing Preparing and managing monthly and quarterly reporting requirements, including development capex accruals and book value movements for the Group, joint ventures and funds. Preparing half yearly and yearly development capital expenditure reporting requirements and financial compliance for the Group, joint ventures and funds, including assisting with external audit enquiries.

Providing financial management of active development projects under construction and updating PCG reports. Preparing joint venture monthly progress claims for funding notices. Preparing and managing development capital forecasts in Anaplan.

Providing general financial support to Development Mangers by setting up budgets, monitoring coding of expenditure and problem solving for system issues and payment enquiries. Participating in projects to improve systems and processes. What makes you stand out To be successful in this role you will have prior commercial property finance experience.

Moreover, you will hold relevant tertiary qualifications, coupled with a CA/CPA professional membership. You will be able to demonstrate your ability to build strong relationships, as we as communicate effectively with multiple stakeholders. Your attention to detail, accuracy and ability to wok to tight deadlines will see you succeed in the role.

Advanced Excel skills as well as previous exp.
