Inventory Controller - Engineering Stores

To continue our success, our Regency Park site has a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Inventory Controller to join the engineering team. You will be working closely with the Maintenance Manager, and responsible for ensuring the effective and timely purchase of parts, tools and services for the engineering and production teams in order to minimize downtime across the site.

Responsibilities Ensure correct stock levels by liaising with Planning, Engineering Resources and Suppliers. Ensure inventory issues/returns are recorded properly in computer system. Run reports on recommended orders and coordinate turn around times.

Follow up internal orders and prepare external orders ensuring compliance to process. Daily receival of goods including checking goods ordered/goods received and follow up of any resulting queries. Ensuring that goods received are recorded and data is maintained.

Ensure invoice validation and price queries, assist follow up by other departments. Perform stocktakes to schedule and as required. Supply end of period reports for accountants and engineering records.

You will play an active role in our continuous improvement process - inventory control and documentation. Maintain a clean and safe environment within store boundaries - to TSSC safety standard (audits etc.) Qualifications High exposure to purchasing and negotiation Previous Inventory management experience Effective oral and written communication Ability to coordinate solid planning and coordination Demonstrate an effective work ethic while under pressure Well-developed interpersonal skills Able to work autonomously and as part of a team with minimal supervision.
