Excellent salary package and benefits Urban Aboriginal Medical Service Exciting and rewarding role Part time up to 0.5 FTE, with additional clinical hours negotiable Danila Dilba Health Service (DDHS) is seeking a Deputy Chief Medical Officer (DCMO) to join their team, who are passionate about helping close the gap in Indigenous health and wellbeing. Why Danila Dilba? Established in 1991, DDHS is a community organisation providing comprehensive primary health care to Biluru (Aboriginal) communities in the Yilli Rreung (Greater Darwin) Region of the Northern Territory.

DDHS's purpose is to improve the physical, mental, cultural and social wellbeing of the Biluru people of the Yilli Rreung region through innovative, culturally safe and effective comprehensive primary health care programs and services. Your new role will focus on the attraction, retention and development of GPs and GP registrars across DDHS clinics.

By engaging and developing GP talent, will ensure that DDHS provide high quality primary health care services to their clients. You will be the single point of clinical supervision for the GP workforce, and work closely with clinic managers and teams to deliver an integrated, multidisciplinary, and comprehensive primary health care model. What do you need to apply? Registered as a General Practitioner with AHPRA and Fellow of RACGP or ACRRM Minimum of 5 years' experience working within General Practice and Aboriginal health Knowledge of primary health care and the delivery of services in accordance with comprehensive Primary Health Care principles and reflecting them in clinical practice Demonstrated experience in managing and leading multidisciplinary teams Be an effective communicator and have the interpersonal ability to build relationships across clinical and non-clinical teams, including facilitation skills Able to produce high standard reports, general correspondence, and documentations For more detailed information and to address the Selection Criteria, please see the position description.
