GCR Collection Officer - OWS / Fleet

Working in the Wholesale & Fleet Collections space, you will have the responsibility of analysing and minimising aged debt from customers and reporting back to internal stakeholders. Working for a leader in the telecommunications industry Salary: $75k - $82k, plus superannuation CBD location, WFH flexibility Up to five days of Volunteer Leave per year; & Discounts on products and services Job Description Reporting to the Collection Manager, your role will include: Ensuring customer payments are received within a contracted trading terms Negotiate with debtors with the intent of finalising payment of outstanding accounts End-to-end collections Forming a business relationship with customers and stakeholders through regular contact via Inbound / Outbound / Email communications Facilitate dispute resolution in a timely manner Reconcile accounts Contribute positively to workplace morale Demonstrate professionalism and positivity toward clients, customers and internal stakeholders at all times.

Ensure complete and consistent compliance to regulatory requirements, applicable legislation, and company policies and procedures Provide inputs for doubtful debt monthly discussions Drive process improvements across the " Collection" process by identifying potential process issues and suggesting alternative actions. About your background Knowledge of Privacy Laws, TCP and Credit Act; Solid technical acumen System knowledge in SAP Solid interpersonal, problem-solving and reporting skills; Strong communication skills to achieve a positive outcome Proven experience in Collections or Customer centric role in the Telco / Banking/ or Utilities industry; Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field advantageous but not 100% essential; Strong Inbound and Outbound collections knowledge and experience; Strong organisational, negotiating and relationship development skills; Excellent written and oral communication skills; & You put the customer at the heart of everything you do Please apply in confidence via the online function today As a provider of essential services across Australia, Optus has a critical role in the community through keeping our customers connected to the people they love and the things that matter.
