Business Analytics ManagerBMW Group
The Opportunity This is a full time position at our ANZ Head office in Mulgrave, based in the Melbourne’s south east. The Business Analytics Manager role is primarily responsible for the development and delivery of Business Intelligence / Analytics, to enable efficient, accurate, and flexible reporting and analysis, while ensuring high quality data management. The role will also support process excellence improvement initiatives with a focus on increasing operational efficiency and effectiveness of the business operations.
The role is also responsible for Building and maintaining the Centre of Competence to standardize business reporting and data management process, including training and coaching on BI techniques and tools. Developing and implementing a process to measure, monitor, control, and enhance data quality including standard and advanced analysis and reporting. Leading, coaching and mentoring a versatile team to assist in driving best in class service and operational functionality, with a focus on improving the customer experience.
Developing responsive and innovative workforce initiatives, providing an outlook of volume & capacity forecast, labour sourcing solutions, functional org design, future capability requirements and scenarios & contingency planning aligned to the market strategy. Provide performance insights and advice to key stakeholders, enabling real-time decisions and actions. Support projects/ system enhancements derived from process improvement initiatives.
Coordinate and validate local and global KPI’s reporting, controlling and management, ensuring linkage of such KPI’s and targets to stakeholders, customers and partners. Work closely with stakeholders across BMW to understand day to day operational impacts and identify opportunities to improve the speed and effectiveness of processes or address any failures. About you: Ideally you will have a Degree qualification in Banking / Finance or equivalent At least 5 years demonstrated experience in a leadership role managing a team.
3-5 years’ experience managing the development and delivery of DataMarts, analytical models or equivalent, data warehousing and business intelligence solutions. Advanced analytical skills and use of analytical & reporting tools like SAS, Tableau, Power BI etc, with well-developed capabilities in interpreting, analysing & synthesising detailed and / or complex information. Demonstrated Change Management & Project Management skills.
Good command of MSOffice applications, in particular Visio, Excel and PowerPoint. Exposure to operations back office, contact centre analysis or equivalent functions in the finance industry would be highly regarded. Strong communication, influencing and stakeholder / relationship management skills or consulting role with the ability to liaise, negotiate and influence at all levels.
