Abbott Diabetes Care (ADC) is helping people with diabetes enjoy healthier, active lives. Abbott’s new life changing continuous glucose monitoring technology is revolutionising the way people manage their glucose. We have an exciting leadership opportunity for a Head of Sales to join our Diabetes business.

This role is based in Melbourne. For an outstanding candidate, this role can potentially be based in Sydney. Reporting to the Commercial Director ANZ, this role is responsible for leading the Sales function including the national sales team in developing and driving sales plans to meet the sales, market share, profit and Digital Health Tool adoption targets for ADC Australia.

As a critical senior member of the Commercial team, you will provide strategic leadership to ADC’s commercial and broader divisional team. Main responsibilities are, and not limited to: Direct activities of the national sales group for the achievement of short and long-term business objectives, increased profit and market share. Activities include customer coverage, HCP meetings, KOL contact, patient programmes, product and disease training, business planning process, sales planning and incentive planning Coach and develop sales and marketing managers to achieve and deliver on Plan Ensure profitability of accounts through development and execution of strategies which include account analysis and targeting Executing on marketing strategies into day-to-day working sales and promotional strategy; driving this through Sales Managers and Sales Representatives Actively seek, identify, analyse and present new business opportunities and improvement ideas to senior management on an ongoing basis Esta.
