Senior Product Manager â€“ Mortgage PortfolioHSBC

In this role you will be responsible for creating and optimising the initiatives across the Mortgage portfolio in order to improve customer engagement, maximise retention and enhance overall returns. The successful candidate will have a team of 5 direct reports tasked with delivering retention, portfolio management and financial analysis to support the overall Secured Lending strategy.
The team is responsible for all customer engagement post acquisition encompassing customer experience, portfolio segmentation, retention activities and ultimately the discharge process. They will also be key in determining the acquisition strategy by working closely with the acquisition team to help drive the portfolio composition. Responsibilities: Develop and implement the HSBC Mortgage portfolio management strategy by using design principles to ensure clear direction and market innovation End-to-end ownership of the Mortgage product portfolio, with focus on portfolio risk Create robust MI to help manage regrettable and non-regrettable customer attrition with a focus on segmentation across the portfolio Responsible for ongoing customer engagement activities to drive customer advocacy and reduce attrition Develop initiatives in order to reduce attrition utilizing propensity models across proactive and reactive retention Manage returns across the portfolio by driving portfolio composition focusing on different risk segments with a focus on Basel III changes from 1st Jan 2023 Requirements Requirements: Tertiary qualification is desirable Strong understanding of drivers and levers of the mortgage portfolio Sound understanding of the mortgage industry in Australia Demonstrated analytical ability Preference will be given to candidates who hold Australian or New Zealand PR/Citizenship or working rights or who can show they currently have unrestricted work rights in Australia with no limitations.
