The Opportunity Our Financial Controlling team is looking for an experienced Controller to support our BMW Financial Services Australian operations, based in Mulgrave.
Reporting to the Head of Controlling, the Controller will work amongst a team of subject matter experts to provide cost and margin controlling whilst ensuring sustainable business via providing accurate planning. What awaits you? You will be responsible for, but not limited to: Contributing to the target achievement of gross profit, new business margins, OPEX, BSC measures investment, headcount and project business cases. Providing accurate project and periodical controlling.
Assist in the preparation of forecasting for global HQ. Making recommendations to steer business in order to meet targets through KPI and financial performance review. Preparation of local financial and statistical reports.
Cost and expense controlling. Regularly liaising with various controllers and stakeholders to deliver business performance and gain strategic insights. Monitor changes in the local economic environment to understand effects on financial markets, ensuring best risk and commercial position.
Actively participate in ad-hoc company projects. Assist with accounting or treasury functions as required. Qualifications & Experience Ideally, you will have: Degree in Accounting, Banking or Finance.
Strong understanding of forecasting and pricing techniques. Strong understanding of key accounting principles. Advanced Excel financial modelling skills.
