Be in charge of growing project opportunities and sales for this iconic building product brand. Our clients Our client is a well-established, successful business and a well-known based between Brisbane and the Gold Coast. They are the market leader in their niche and have experienced year-on-year growth and expansion into international markets in recent years.

An opportunity for an experienced Business Development Manager has become available to take charge in implementing business plans to develop and continue growing sales and creating opportunities with suppliers for the company. Reporting and working with the Head of Sales, this role will be responsible from introducing architects at design stage through to following up projects right through to order. Key accountabilities include: Develop a business plan and P&L to monitor results Keep abreast of current trends and design requirements Identify and foster relationships with personnel in key Architectural practices and other specification professionals Follow up on project leads generated though marketing activities Proactively seek tender opportunities Track and maintain data on the CRM from drawing to completion and Prepare a monthly report on activity, outcomes, and ROI key Architectural practices to identity opportunities and trends.

About you Success requires a minimum of 3 years’ experience in building or home improvement products with demonstrated experience in developing and implementing strategies that lead to business growth. Ideally you will understand the Architectural specification and building processes and be actively involved in Architectural networks. You will have exceptional organisational, communication and negotiation skills with strong financial acumen and the ability to think outside the box.
