Challenge Our World. About the opportunity We are on the lookout for superstar individuals keen to start their career in Early Childhood Education, taking part in our Traineeship program. Throughout the traineeship you will build foundational skills to set you up for a rewarding career assisting in shaping children and bringing out their greatest potential.

A traineeship will provide you with: Paid, hands on training while completing your qualification Paid study time allocated during working hours Mentorship from a supportive team of Educators, Room Leaders and Management Access to resources and materials to assist in your studies Professional development and career development opportunities This is a full time opportunity and will be based at Torquay Early Learning Centre. org.au. About you You will be a keen learner and have a passion for developing yourself as an Early Childhood Educator.

No qualifications are required, however you will be a dedicated individual, committed to completing your studies. We are looking for someone who: Is self motivated and able to work both under the direction of a mentor and independently Has great verbal and written communication skills Has a natural flair in building positive working relationships Is willing to learn and grow alongside the team Holds a current Working With Children Check Is willing to obtain their First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis and Asthma certifications Has a desire to complete their Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care At the Y, we are committed to empowering all Children and Young People to feel safe and be safe.
