We are now looking for a highly driven, motivated and commercially minded Advertising and Partnerships Manager to work as part of our publishing team. Mahlab is a content marketing and communications agency that works with some of the world’s most dynamic brands. We’re a team of writers, journalists, strategists, designers, social media experts, PR and media sales folk famous for content and communications programs.
We work with some of the world’s largest B2B brands including Salesforce, VMware and Zoom, as well as Australian organisations including Prospa, NBN, Engineers Australia, the Australian HR Institute and RSL NSW. We are looking for a highly driven, motivated and commercial Advertising and Partnerships Manager to work as part of our publishing team managing commercial opportunities and advertising inventory across a variety of platforms including print, web, email and social media. The advertising products include a variety of sponsored content and display advertising opportunities however as the platforms change and evolve so will our offering.
The day to day: Achieve quarterly and annual targets by selling available inventory and developing content-led commercial partnerships Build and grow relationships with both current and prospective advertisers Development of new business pipeline and growth of existing advertiser database. Manage relationships and campaign opportunities through the use of our CRM. Contribute to the ideation and development of new and innovative solutions and commercial opportunities Manage all sales related enquiries across your platforms and produce accurate and well-presented sales proposals.
Ensure regular contact with advertising clients in person, via phone and email to grow relationships and gain insight and knowledge about their business and commercial opportunities. Report accurate and timely figures and forecasts across the business. Manage sales admin and production with the relevant team members.
The ideal person: Has demonstrated experience creating integrated commercial opportunities across multiple formats, channels and platforms Will be able to advise advertisers on long-term strategic integration opportunities as well as short-term tactical advertising campaigns Will be energetic, proactive and motivated with strong interpersonal, negotiation and communication skills. Will have a drive to succeed and a hunter approach to sales and business development. Will enjoy staying up to date with industry trends as well as trends affecting their client’s industry.
