Events Manager for an Association based in Melbourne, permanent role on a salary of $75,000 - $85,000 plus super The Company: A boutique Association based in Melbourne's CBD that have a great events team and this role is an Events Manager permanent position to join the events team of 3. The Association have a large membership base right across Australia and produce sensational conferences and webcast events annually. The Role: The Events Manager role reports into the Events Director and will manage their own portfolio of events within the team.
This role will work on conferences and webcast events and will be responsible for ensuring the smooth delivery of all events in their remit. Key responsibilities will include: Delivery of all events from end to end including conferences and webcasts Key stakeholder communications management Identifying and securing speakers for the events Working with the membership base to develop sponsorship opportunities for events Budget and project management for all events Producing timelines, run sheets, contracts etc Managing suppliers and ensuring all contracts are in place Full logistics and operations management Oversee all risk management and OH&S compliance at events Managing all requirements within EventsAIR The Candidate: With great experience managing conferences and other events and using EventsAIR, this role will involve high level stakeholder communications and the candidate must have had experience managing conferences from end to end. With sensational communication skills and adaptability, this role will require the person to be able to be confident enough to speak with high level sponsors and stakeholders and present if required.
