Liverpool Area - Supportive Team & Development - Career Advancement The Company Our client is a global manufacturing leader supporting a range of industries in over 20 countries around the world. They have experienced strong growth in the past 2 years with the help of advanced technologies and a high demand for their product. Due to an internal promotion, they are looking for an Accounts Officer to join the accounting team based in the Liverpool area.
The Role Reporting to the Financial Controller you will be responsible for: General accounts receivable functions Bank reconciliations Enter customer payments Monitor customer accounts for outstanding invoices and follows up with the customer for payment Send monthly statements to customers for outstanding invoices General accounts payable functions Create and maintain vendor files Check, verify and enter invoices Review and confirm employee expenses, including account allocations and GST Prepare payments to vendors and employees General support functions Assist in month end reporting procedures Perform all necessary bank and other reconciliations Maintain petty cash Assist with employee expenses Perform filing and general administrative tasks Liaise with other departments/customers/vendors Preferred Experience Minimum 2 years accounts experience Relevant qualifications or working towards accounting/business degree ERP experience ideal Strong Excel skills Able to meet conflicting deadlines Accuracy of data and attention to detail Able to work autonomously and use initiative Clear, open, honest and timely communication If you are interested, please APPLY immediately & we’ll get back to you as soon as possible..
