Title: Site Engineer Job Number: 14270 Location: Mascot, NSW, AU, 2020 About the Project John Holland Seymour Whyte Joint Venture (JHSWJV) have been successfully awarded the contract for the design and construction of Sydney Gateway Stage 1 and Stage 3. The project includes 5 kilometres of new road, 16 bridges and close to 3 kilometres of active transport links. Stage 1: International Terminal and Qantas Drive connection - a new high-capacity road connection, linking the Sydney Motorway network at St Peter's interchange with Sydney Airports International Terminal and Qantas Drive.

Stage 3: Domestic Terminal access - an arterial road connection and flyover to Sydney Airport's Domestic Terminals. This Stage includes improvements to existing roads, to relieve congestion and improve connectivity to Sydney Airport Domestic Terminals and towards Port Botany. About the Role We are currently looking for an experienced Site Engineer to play a key role in providing onsite engineering services and technical support to ensure short term planning and programming of woks.

Day to day tasks and activities will include but not be limited to; Key Responsibilities include: Assist in the development of a detailed program for day-to-day activities, lookahead program and daily program changes, including resources required and material deliveries; Assist in the tracking of off-site procurement items against program; Work to achieve construction targets agreed with the supervising Foreman; Organise and supervise the placement of materials, plant and equipment required ensuring unobstructed access and progress to activities; Assist with the management of all lots in accordance with the Project QA system; Preparation of the Work Area Plans (WAPs); Be responsible for notifying and releasing witness and hold points to relevant parties in accordance with the project requirements; Participate in the review of all design & documentation for construction purposes. Assist in the management of subcontractors, consultants and suppliers in accordance with contract requirements ensuring high performance in terms of time, cost and quality; Assist in the coordination and delivery of suppliers' and subcontractors' procurement items and services to the Project; Accurately record and track costs related to plant, materials and labour costs to produce monthly accruals and assist in control of the budget and forecasting; What You'll Need to Succeed: Degree in Engineering Experience working in a similar role within the Construction industry.
