As the National Sales Manager for the Distribution Solutions Division, you will drive the defined sales organization and customers throughout the sales process while focusing on growing new and existing business within the entire portfolio of Low Voltage & Medium Voltage Switchgear and Digital Solutions. The role reports to the Local Division Manager, Electrification and can be located in either NSW, VIC, QLD or WA. Your responsibilities Responsible to lead and develop a large and diverse Sales Team, ensuring the team is motivated and inspired to achieve common goals.
Leads sales strategy discussions, agrees and drives the short-term and long-term goals, in collaboration with the Product Group and Marketing leaders. Supports; and draws from the Solutions and Segments organization to be in alignment with existing and emerging market / customer demands. Analyze customer needs and competitor offers through general market information and information provided by local Sales organization.
Support the market assessment for the purpose of transfer and selling prices, focusing on volume, product mix and profitability targets for Product Groups. Takes ownership of specific escalated customer cases to ensure efficient customer issue resolution. Accountable for the sales forecast at month, quarter, and 5-quarter horizons.
Leads, drives and holds self-accountable for the highest standards of health, safety and environment to ensure Zero Harm is achieved. Your background Experience in developing sales plans and execute with sales and marketing teams. Lead sales engagement on critical pursuits, and with key business partners.
Understand low voltage, medium voltage and digital systems markets and related customers. Strong customer orientation, negotiation skills and market mapping. Degree and/or trade qualifications in a related discipline.
Demonstrated significant people leadership experience.
