What does the role involve? Assist in developing, driving and implement a multifaceted strategic communications strategy to support the David Jones brand, narrative and offering As part of setting the strategy, drive major seasonal communications campaigns across all channels, managing influencer and partner engagement, as well as David Jones owned content strategy Build and maintain strong relations with key national media across AUNZ to drive communication objectives and generate accurate, positive and strategic coverage Engage senior level stakeholders and drive engagement and support Brief the direction and ongoing day to day management of the agency to drive strategic and tactical campaign PR outcomes Continue to evolve and manage the David Jones talent strategy across the business including brand ambassador/alignment, guide and advise on KOL talent and ensure that all talent reflect the David Jones brand and values Maintain relationships with talent managers and key 'friends of the brand' and advise and collaborate with broader marketing functions in engaging and managing talent on all activity. the maintenance of up-to-date talent style guide showcasing a diverse range of people and talent for broader business purposes in selecting talent and evaluate talent effectiveness and end of campaign reporting Contribute to the social media calendar and the integration/alignment, identifying key brand moments and talent integration that support the PR strategy Advise on PR and Talent messaging on social channel Advise on social media talent and grow social media audience via talent strategy Who are we looking for? Tertiary qualification ideally in PR, Marketing or related field Extensive communications experience with direct experience working in consumer PR with a focus on fashion and lifestyle, talent management and digital strategy A data-driven approach to working with content, influencers, and community to leverage impactful communication activities Idea generator - ability to brainstorm new ways to bring the brand to life Entrepreneurial spirit Extremely well organised, detail-oriented, and efficient, with exceptional multi-tasking and time management skills Creative yet analytical with critical thinking skills and proven expertise in problem solving Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and pivot as required.
